Bedrock Limitations

Limitations of Using Bedrock Edition on Newwind.

Newwind uses software that translates all Bedrock packets into Java and vice versa, allowing you to play using Minecraft Bedrock Edition (since newwind uses Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.1.
However, Java and Bedrock editions have a few fundamental differences, listed here.
Since it is not possible to click/hover on chat messages in Bedrock, efforts have been made to adapt certain commands for bedrock users. As a result, they may seem less seamless/user-friendly.
Additionally, custom biome colors do not function in Bedrock Edition, which means some custom dimensions/spawn themes may appear bland.
The most significant issue with Bedrock Edition on Newwind is that beyond a distance of ±131072, movement becomes jittery due to rounding errors in the Bedrock client.
Beyond distances of 2097152, movement becomes impossible. Currently, there is no workaround or solution to this issue, although this may change in the future.
